Rockin’ the Holidays Indie Readers’ Bash is proud to be supporting the following charities and causes at the event:

Breast Cancer Awareness – Gift Baskets containing Avon Products from Glorya Hidalgo and Sharon Covington from Book FriEnds and theEDGEbooks.com’s books will be raffled off at the Signing, benefiting the Breast Cancer Research.

Amanda Todd Foundation – The Snowflake Christmas Tree.  There will be a Christmas Tree to be decorated by people wishing to donate $2 to the Foundation by writing on a snowflake ornament who to give strength to against any challenges in life such as bullying, cancer, diabetes, intolerance, etc.  All these wishes written on snowflakes will be posted on a separate page on the Saving You Saving Me project site, founded by Kailin Gow.  A short story titled Saving Snowflakes related to Kailin Gow’s Saving You Saving Me NA contemporary romance series was contributed into the Stories for Amanda anthology written by 16 bestselling authors to have 100% of the proceeds go towards the foundation to raise awareness about cyber-bullying, mental illness, and suicide. Kailin Gow’s Frost Series featuring a snowflake and also her new adult series Saving You Saving Me featuring bullying and suicide prevention uncannily connected her to Amanda Todd’s mother Carol Todd.

A Local Battered Women’s Shelter –  A 7 or 8 foot banner signed by all the authors and models at the event will be silently-auctioned off during the signing to the highest bidder, with net proceeds going towards an OC local battered women’s shelter.
